High Mast Lighting Project – Aqaba

Panailo Smart Technology Co., Ltd. successfully delivered and installed a high mast lighting system for a shipping company’s logistics yard in Aqaba, Jordan. The project ensures reliable night-time operations and safety across the wide container storage area.

The complete supply included:

l                      6 sets of 18m high mast poles, fully installed on site.

l                      Each pole designed with 6 mounting positions for LED floodlights.

l                      Initial installation of 4 × 400W LED floodlights per pole, with 2 positions reserved for future expansion.

l                      Aviation obstruction lights installed on top for air traffic safety compliance.

l                      Poles manufactured with hot-dip galvanized steel for long-term durability in desert conditions.

Design & Engineering

Our technical team prepared detailed structural and lighting design drawings, ensuring optimal light distribution across the yard. The system was designed without a lifting mechanism, offering a cost-effective and low-maintenance solution.

Manufacturing & Quality Control

The high mast poles were produced from Q335 steel, welded to AWS D1.1 standards, and hot-dip galvanized to BS EN ISO 1461 standard (>85µm zinc coating).

Floodlights and aviation obstruction lights were assembled and tested for performance, weather resistance, and safety compliance before shipment.

Packing & Logistics

All poles, floodlights, and accessories were carefully packed and loaded into containers for overseas shipment to Aqaba.

Project Completion

The installation of 6 high mast lighting poles with 24 high-power floodlights (4 units per pole) was successfully completed. The solution provides bright and uniform illumination, ensuring safety and efficiency for 24/7 logistics operations.
